This is a new development which is due to start at the beginning of next year,(2011) subject of course to the normal delays that can happen in a project of this size in these financially uncertain times.

It is to be on the other side of the river from the town and will consist of a four star hotel with spa and health club, an aparthotel, childrens play garden and creche, Houses and Apartments for the over fifties,Hospital and a Helipad.

There is an office in the square devoted to this project with scale model of the development and artist impressions of the finished product and someone to discuss the project with if you speak Portuguese but no prices as yet , or completion date.

Progress we must have ,but at what price, it just wont be cheap and could well be a big blot on the landscape.
